Scope

Users are provided with this privacy policy information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider is collected and used.

Mapbox map service

This website uses an API provided by Mapbox Inc., 740 15th Street NW 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20005 (“Mapbox”).

To use the functions of Mapbox it is necessary to save your IP address. Mapbox receives the information that you have accessed the relevant data on our website. This information is usually transmitted to a Mapbox server and stored there. Mapbox states that it will not transmit any personal data outside of the European Union, unless the recipient (Mapbox service provider or a company affiliated with Mapbox) adheres to the Privacy Shield principles (see „US-EU-Privacy Shield and Swiss -US-Privacy Shield „) or is subject to suitable contractual protection mechanisms to ensure this. Mapbox processes personal data in accordance with EU law. We have no influence on this data transfer.

If requests are made to the Mapbox APIs, Mapbox stores the following data in order to ensure the provision of the services: IP address, device and browser information, operating system, content of the request, date and time of the request and limited location and usage data. Mapbox states that it will automatically delete the IP addresses after 30 days. Mapbox stores your data or passes it on to its service providers for internal diagnostic and analysis purposes, to improve its map products and services, to make its services available to end users of its customers, and to compile aggregated and anonymized usage statistics. Use of the Matomo analysis software

On our website we use Matomo (formerly: „PIWIK“). This is an open-source analysis software with which we can analyse the use of our internet pages. In doing so, your IP address, the website(s) of our Internet presence that you visit, the website from which you have switched to our Internet presence (referrer URL), your length of stay on our Internet presence as well as the frequency with which one of our websites is called up are processed.

These data are stored exclusively on our server. It will not be passed on to third parties. Furthermore, no cookies are set on your computer. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our Internet presence.

However, we use Matomo with the anonymisation function „Automatically Anonymize Visitor IPs“. This anonymization function shortens your IP address by two bytes so that an assignment to you or to the Internet connection you are using is impossible.

If you use the opt-out, a cookie is stored on your terminal device via your Internet browser, which prevents further analysis. Please note, however, that you will have to click the above link again if you delete the cookies stored on your terminal device.

Data minimization
